Cr Speedie asked for nominations for the position of acting Chairperson when item 9.2 was before the meeting. Cr Lowe nominated Cr Bennett, and the nomination was seconded by Cr Mildren. There were no other nominations. In the absence of any other nominations the Mayor declared Cr Bennett elected to the position of acting Chairperson for item 9.2 on the agenda.
